A great thing about the CleanFreak Reliable 14 auto scrubber is that it is available in both battery-operated and cord-electric versions. The battery model will give you approximately 2 hours of run time on a full charge. The electric model has unlimited run time, as long as there is an outlet nearby. Both battery and electric models are compact and maneuverable, making them suitable for operators of all skill levels. The tanks are built of high-quality, durable polyethylene giving each machine the longevity to work for years and years to come.

Reliable 14 (Battery) Floor Scrubber
I purchased a Reliable 14 Battery Scrubber roughly 3 years ago for my church and it still runs like a champ today! Don't Buy This Machine
We purchased 2 of these machines and both machines have battery issues within 6 months of being put into service. The machines lasts 10 minutes on a full charge. Getting tech support and replacement parts is a very slow process so your machine will be out of service for at least a month. Something is wrong with these machines?batteries and the support is poor. It's too bad because when the machines work they're great.

Good machine
This is a good machine and I like it very much.
A few things to report : If you happen to catch a floor mat or a rug, the brush fuse will blow up. The normal color of the power on is YELLOW and not green as indicated on the owner's manual. Also not mentioned in the manual is that if the bush does not work, you probably blew the fuse. This is the one in the middle (4 A - Available at auto part stores).
The machine performs extremely well and the floor is mostly dry aftermath. Of course, it takes a bit of learning and you will need to dry the corners with some kind of mop.
In my opinion, it should be simpler to have the vacuum only set up. Also, moving the machine when the brush is not running is quite difficult.
Still a great machine. I would buy it again.

Best little scrubber!
Super cool looking and actually works as advertised. I bought a battery and electric one for my garage and shop. Amazing how well that squeegee works and easy the machine is to use. The dump hose on the tank also makes it so you don't need to lift out the tank if you have a low floor drain. Awesome machine!!

Can any floor cleanner or just water be used?
Suggests different cleaners under item but doing research some only need water or any floor cleanner.

You can use any cleaning chemical in this auto scrubber as long as it is not citrus-based. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions and dilution rates correctly.

The brush a soft or firm type?

The included nylon scrub brush is considered an everyday cleaning brush, so it would be more of a soft/medium brush. The brush is safe for use on any type of commercial floor. Great for VCT, luxury tile, travertine, terrazzo, concrete, vinyl, linoleum, rubber and more.

Can this unit be used on true hardwoods?

Yes, you can use this machine on true hardwood floors. The squeegees will coral the dirty solution on the floor and suck it up as you are using the machine.

Tim C says – "During the charging of the battery-powered version of this machine, if the red light on the charger starts to flash, there is no need to worry; this is totally normal behavior. The flashing red light is a timeout error which tends to happen when replacing the batteries. You need to cycle the batteries anywhere from 6-12 times before that will stop happening. At that point, you will get the longest run times and the shortest recharge times.
The light flashing on the display while the scrubber is running indicates that the motor is in ECO mode, running at 80% of the max scrub power and speed. To take it out of ECO mode, turn the unit on and hit the brush button once. Then, without touching the paddles to activate anything, press and hold the button for the brush motor until the flashing stops."
Maintenance Tips
Use a defoamer solution with every use to control the foam in the recovery tank & protect the vac motor.
After each use, you'll want to make sure to raise the squeegee assembly, wipe the squeegee blades clean, and remove the brush to avoid deforming the bristles.
Clean out both the solution & recovery tanks after each use.
