What is a Drag Wand?

A drag wand is a carpet cleaning tool that is used from a standing position with a truck mount or portable carpet extractor. Typically operated in a forward and back motion, they lay down solution or water in the forward motion and recover the same solution in the pull-back motion. Drag wands can have 1 to 6-jet configurations. More jets result in a more even solution spray, but the spray is spread thinner and comes with less pressure.
