With use of this activated charcoal filter and your Dri-Eaz DefendAir HEPA 500 Air Scrubber, a wide range of volatile substances (VOCs) can be captured to remove odors and fumes like food odors, paint fumes, smokey air, sewer gas smell, and many others from your work space.

No modification of the DefendAir is required. Simply place the new carbon filter inside the front cabinet of the HEPA filter, and then re-secure the cover. The lifespan of this filter varies widely depending on how much volatile compounds are in the air. When you note the air moving performance to decline it's time to change the filter.
