This Electro Spray backpack sprayer applies an electrostatic charge to disinfectants and other chemicals as it dispenses them. This lightweight backpack sprayer can also be carried, or mounted on a cart. The 2.1 gallon tank can cover up to 15,000 square feet. The sprayer itself comes with 2 dispensing nozzles, 2 wands, a 12 volt Lithium ion battery and charger.
When a chemical is electrostatically charged, the solution wraps around all surfaces being sprayed. This is very similar to powder coating where all nooks and crannies will be covered, including the back sides of negatively charged items. This sprayer will supply you with more thorough disinfecting applications, as long as sufficient chemical is applied, as well as allowing you to apply those applications quicker. Great for cleaning those hard-to-reach crevices and even undersides of surfaces with minimal effort.
We have several different disinfectant options available for this sprayer. Pioneer Eclipse Nova™ is a concentrated disinfectant that can be diluted out to 6 oz per gallon of water (4 gallon case makes 80 gallons of usable product), but requires 10 minutes of dwell time to be effective against SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19). We also have the Brulin® BruTab 6S® tablets and the EvaClean™ PurTabs tablets available which are more conducive to mixing for wide spread applications with smaller dwell. Depending on what size tablet you go with, and the mixture ratio, each product has differing dwell times.
*Please Note: When applying disinfectants or other chemicals, the electrostatic spray will cover an object with a fine mist. The solution should not be applied over and over again creating any sort of visible pooling of liquid or dripping.
Also, when using the electrostatic feature, before turning on the handle control switch, please ensure that your hand has touched the grounding electrode on the handle to avoid the possibility of static shock.
