Avoid blowing breakers with the use of this EDIC circuit locator to quickly find separate circuits before you start your job. The EDIC 989CS comes equipped with two standard male wall plugs. This allows you to plug one end into the wall outlet and the other male end into the female end of any extension cord, which can then be plugged into another outlet for testing purposes. If the green light turns on, you know the 2 outlets are on different circuits. If it does not light up, you need to move one of the male ends to another outlet and continue testing.
