The 3M particulate filter (#7093) has a hard plastic case that contains the P100 filters to protect against particulates and is NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil- and non-oil-based particles.The innovative solid-top air inlet design creates a channeled airflow that reduces loading up of the filter. When properly fitted, this filter can be used in a variety of applications, including welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces. Please note that this filter does not protect against gases.
The 3M 7093 filter is sold by the box which contains 12 filters per box and is designed to work with the 5000, 6000, 7000, and 7500 series full or half masks including the 3M full face and half face respirator masks we sell. Also be sure to check out the 2097 and 60926 filter cartridges that also fit these models of respirators.
