Balanced Ionized Environment

Cleaning technology has remained largely the same over the years. So when innovation happens in the industry, we all stop and take notice. That’s what’s happening at X-Power. After 2 years of research and development, X-Power is releasing their negative ion generating air movers in response to consumer demand.

Research has shown that over-exposure to positively charged ions in the air contributes to fatigue, irritation, depression, and other problems. Indoor air is generally overpowered by these positively charged ions since many things used in indoor environments emit positive ions. (Some examples are computers, air conditioning, florescent lighting and other electronic devices.)

In order to restore and retain a balanced ionized environment, negative ionizers use a method called “corona discharge”, or electro-static charges modeled after lightening. Ionizers may sound similar to ozone generators, but they aren’t exactly alike. Ozone in high concentrations can be toxic – both to air-borne bacteria and to humans and animals. Instead of producing high levels of ozone, negative ion generators work by attaching negative ions to positively charged ions making them too heavy to remain airborne. They fall to the floor or other surfaces where they can be removed during normal cleaning.

A few of the many benefits of negative ions are:
• Increased energy
• Improved mood
• Boosted immune system
• Increased serotonin levels
• Better sleep quality
• Improved concentration
• Reduction of airborne dust & allergens
• Decrease of airborne viruses and bacteria

While many home-use negative ion generators are widely available, CleanFreak is proud to carry X-Power’s negative ion air movers. These combine the air-circulating power you already use with advanced negative ion generators to offer added benefits to your team and customers.
