This defoaming agent breaks down foam and eliminates the possibility of it being sucked through the vacuum motor of your machine. If that foam were to be sucked through the motor, your warranty would be null and void on the unit. Using a defoamer is essential part of the recovery process. This defoamer performs best if it is sucked up through the recovery hose on an extractor, or through the squeegee recovery system on an auto scrubber. This helps to break down foam at all points in the recovery process. We recommend using this product with all of the portable carpet spotters, carpet scrubbers, box extractors, and walk behind floor scrubbers that we sell to protect their vacuum motors.
