Core's New Generation Extraction Detergent is a lemon scented formulation that is specifically meant for use on stain resistant carpet fibers. It contains non-foaming detergents and solvents for deep cleaning action. Even though it contains non-foaming elements, we still recommend using a defoamer while extracting, because you don't know what might be left in your carpet from the last time it was cleaned. Since this is a moderate alkaline and phosphate free solution, you can have little concern about it harming any type of carpeting. However, we still recommend testing it in an inconspicuous area before applying to larger areas.
