Core's Heavy Duty Extraction Detergent is an alkaline based (pH: 11.5 - 12.5) extraction detergent formulated for aggressive cleaning and restoration of heavily soiled carpets. This is the carpet cleaning detergent for those jobs that seem impossible to clean. If it can be cleaned, this is the detergent that will get it done. The extreme alkalinity of this product can actually ruin carpets, so we also recommend testing this product on an inconspicuous area before using it on a larger scale. To help eliminate some of the possible browning that can occur due to the high alkaline after extracting, we recommend using Majestic's carpet rinse and neutralizer to eliminate all the left over detergent residue in the carpet.
