The Hip Vac rests comfortably on the hips of the operator. Thanks to its small compact design, operators of all sizes have complete freedom of movement for all types of cleaning tasks. The motor is positioned to correspond to the body's own center of gravity, enhancing balance and minimizing fatigue. It's lightweight (only 6.4lbs) and ergonomic design allows any user to vacuum quickly and efficiently. No dragging, no pushing and no battling around obstacles means workers get the job done quicker. A new velcro-strap on belt accommodates all operators: big or small, left or right handed. Simply stated, our hip style vacuums give their users the freedom to move easily, reduce strain on the back and weigh less than almost all conventional backpack vacuums. It's a serious vacuum cleaner in a great package.
